Studio Mariart's Founder

Mariastella Kamuti is a creative visual communications consultant dedicated to transforming complex ideas into compelling narratives. With a background in architecture and a passion for art, she bridges technical expertise with creative communication, helping non-profits and socially conscious organizations convey their messages visually.

Her journey began in the built environment, where she worked on designing spaces that serve communities. However, she realized that beyond buildings, there was a critical need for clear, engaging communication, especially in sectors tackling climate action, sustainable cities, and social change. Blending her architectural insight with illustration and graphic facilitation, she founded Studio Mariart to help organizations distill complex research, policies, and educational content into visually engaging formats, ensuring vital conversations reach wider audiences, spark action, and contribute to a more just and sustainable world.

Mariastella was named a finalist in the Girls Accelerating Sustainable Action (GASA) competition, an initiative by STEMi Makers Africa that empowers young African women to lead solutions in sustainability through STEM and creative innovation. This recognition underscores her commitment to using visual storytelling as a tool for advocacy, education, and impact across the continent.
